Adele Andres is a listed
California painter born in 1898 in Ohio, but resettled to Los Angeles,
California in 1903.
After graduating from the Ramona Convent, she studied
at the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois. She exhibited her work with the
Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles in 1926 and 1931, and at the California
Art Club in 1962 where she won First Prize. She died in 1992.
