Alois Lecoque is a well listed painter born in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1891. He trained at the Academy Beaux Arts in Zagreb, Czechoslovakia, and the Julian Academy in Paris, France as a pupil of Emile Bernard.


A friend of Renoir, he is known for his paintings of landscapes, cityscape sand coastals. He exhibited widely in Europe and the United States during the Twentieth Century. He died in 1981.
