A listed painter, sculptor, illustrator, and
teacher, Anthony Triano was a resident of Northern New Jersey and a faculty
member of Seton Hall University for twenty-five years.
After
his service in the United States Marine Corp during World War II in the
South Pacific, he enrolled in the Newark School of Fine and Industrial Arts
and studied under sculptor Reuben Nakain. He developed his own style of
Abstract Expressionism and had 37 one man shows in prominent galleries
and museums, as well as for corporations.
Born in
1928, he died in 1997.
