Arthur Smith is a listed American painter and illustrator, known for his paintings of boxing scenes.

Born in New York City at an unknown date, Arthur Smith painted for the WPA Program in the 1930's and 1940's, and was the illustrator for The Ring boxing magazine. His paintings have been exhibited in his home town and are sought after by many collectors who want both WPA and boxing venue art pieces. He died in 1972.
