Born in Paris in 1928,
this well listed painter Bernard Buffet was educated at the Ecole Nationale
Superieure des Beaux-Arts.
He was known for his
paintings and lithographs of landscapes, villages, still life, clowns and
boats. This piece is one of the more unusual of his lithographs. He died in
1990.
