Born in 1904, Bertram Goodman is a well listed New
York painter, muralist and printmaker that is known for his figural, genre,
cityscapes and landscapes.
Active in the WPA / Federal Arts Project, he
studied at the Art Students League in New York and exhibited his work with
the American Watercolor Society, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Arts
Institute of Chicago, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. His works are
held by the Library of Congress. He died in 1988.
