Conrad Buff is a
well listed Laguna Beach, California painter and illustrator known for his
Impressionistic, and sometimes Abstract landscapes of California mountains,
deserts, parks and lakes, done in varied mediums.
Self taught as an
artist, he often painted with his friends Maynard Dixon and Edgar Payne. His
work won him many awards in California exhibitions, and today his paintings are
included in many museum collections.
Conrad Buff was born
in Switzerland in 1886, and died in 1975 in the United States.
