A listed New York Sculptor, abstract painter, and printmaker, Eugene Sturman was born in New York City and was educated at Alfred University and the University of New Mexico. His work has been exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
