Born in Los Angeles, California
in 1889, Florence Parker Bloser is a listed painter who studied with Arthur
Hill Gilbert, Paul Loritz and Millard Sheets at the Los Angeles Art School.
She is known for her landscapes and still lifes.
She exhibited with the Women Painters of the West, the
California Art Club and the Painters and Sculptors of Los Angeles in the
1930's. She was active in the Southern California art scene up until the
time of her death in Los Angeles in 1935.
