Contemporary painter Galina Kazmina was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1968, and studied at the Kiev State Art Institute.

She has had shows of her work in Kiev, Moscow, Toronto, Winnipeg, Baltimore, Maryland, and the International Art Expo in New York City.
