Born in 1929, Giorgio Celiberti is known as one of Italy's
greatest Contemporary masters.
He started painting at a young age and was one youngest
ever participants in the Venice Biennale in 1948. While primarily known as a
painter, in recent years he has focused on sculptural work. He has had over one
hundred solo exhibitions over the course of his long career and is one of
Italy's most published modern artists.
