Born in 1877,
Henri Hourtal is a well listed French painter known for his paintings and
watercolors of street and village scenes in France and North Africa.
He graduated
from the Academy Julian and exhibited at the Salon des Independants, the
Societe' Nationale des Beaux Artes, and the Salon D'Autonne. He died in
1944.
