A listed San Francisco
area contemporary painter who studied with Lundy Siegriest, Martha Borge
Patricia Edwards and Peter Blos, he was born in 1933.
Trained as a professional
engineer, Turner is a founding member of a group of painters known as the
"Outsiders". Turner has displayed his work widely in California, and is
known for his vivid colors and thick paint application. He has taught
advanced plein air painting for private groups since 1991.
