John Crimmins is a Contemporary New York City painter, known for his streetscapes, landscapes and marine subjects. He was born in New York City in 1963.

He is an Impressionist painter in the American Tradition, having studied the works and techniques of the French Impressionists as well as prominent American artists William Merrit Chase and Charles Hawthorne.

Crimmins has exhibited his work at the Guild Hall Museum Clothesline sale in East Hampton, New York, and the East End Arts Council in Riverhead, New York.
