Juan Antonio Moreira is a listed painter. illustrator and teacher born in Havana, Cuba in 1938. He was educated at the Academy Martin School and the School De Artes Plasticas, where he later became a professor. He has had many exhibitions of his works in various venues in Cuba, South America, Russia, and the United States. His most recent exhibitions in the United States were at the Couturier Gallery in Los Angeles, California. His works are in the collections of several museums including the Museo de Bellas Artes in Cuba, the Royal Ontario Museum in Canada, the National Gallery of Jamaica, and the Schloss Museum of Germany.
