Juan "Pepe"
Guzman is a listed Fauvist California landscape painter. Born in 1948 in Chile,
he moved to California in 1972 and began painting landscapes in plein air
fashion, usually in the early morning hours of the day.
HE cites
Charles Reiffel, Maurice Brown and Charlie Fries as his influences. He has
exhibited primarily in Southern California, but he has developed a following of
collectors who seek out his colorful palette.
