Junichi "Jun" Dobashi is known for his bold and modernist compositions which are highly sought-after in both
Europe and the United States.
He was a member of the artist group known as the
Khinjukai, and is listed as a School of Paris artist in the art reference
book School of Paris. A large work by Junichi Dobashi adorns the main
lobby of the Sapporo Grand Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. He was exhibited widely,
including a one man show in 1961 at the esteemed Redfern Gallery in London
England.
He was born in 1910, died in 1978.
