Malliczky Schroetter is a listed painter and wood engraver that is noted in
the Who Was Who In American Art.
Mara Malliczky Schroetter was known to have exhibited
at the Art Institute of Chicago in 1927, and has a wood engraving in the
collection of the Library of Congress created in the 1940's. Nothing further
is known at this time.
This piece is definitively in the American School
tradition.
