Mervyn Denton-Burgess is a listed painter born in Norfolk, England in 1910.

He studied at the Norwich School of Art, and at the age of seventeen was selected to exhibit with the Royal Society of British Artists in 1927. He came to Canada in 1929 and became a professional landscape designer undertaking major projects in British Columbia, Canada. He maintained his interest in painting throughout his lifetime, and died in 2002.
