Pierre Ino is a listed School of Paris Surrealist painter who is often compared with Georgio de
Chirico. He was born near Petrograd and Saint Petersburg in Russia on November
11th, 1909. He relocated to Paris in
1927, where he studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts for a time, then started on a
solo career.
His Surrealistic work was exhibited at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania, and the Salon de Independants, Salon de SurIndependants, Salon
d'Automne in Paris. He also staged one man shows at the Galerie de Berrie and
Berri-Raspail galleries in Paris. He also exhibited at the
Gallerie Charpentier and the Gallerie Andre Weil.
As a figurative painter, Pierre Ino is represented with works hung in the
Muse'e d'Art Moderne in Paris and many private collections worldwide as well.
