A well-listed Australian painter and printmaker born in 1944 and now living in New York, Richard Bosman is especially known for his Neo-Expressionist works.

This particular woodcut came out of the corporate collection of the Atlantic Richfield Company in Los Angeles, California.

His works are in the Australian National Gallery, the Bibliotheque Nationale in Paris,  the Metropolitan Museum, the Whitney Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, the New York Public Library and the Brooklyn Museum, all in New York City, New York.
