| A well known listed California artist, Richard Whorf was born in 1906. He is known for his architectural paintings of buildings, theatres, barns, and the genre. The brother of celebrated artist John Whorf, Richard was an actor and director for the Hollywood studios for movie and television during the first half of the 20th Century. His paintings have sold at auction for as much as $10,000.00. He died in 1966.
