Born in
1923 in New York City, Rosalind Asch Mosier was a listed painter and sculptor
who was educated at the Tyler School of Fine Arts, the Barnes Foundation, the
University of Chicago, and the Institute of Fine Arts at New York University.
While living in the San
Francisco area, she exhibited her works at the San Francisco Museum of Art, the
Oakland Art Museum, and the Richmond Art Center. Later in life she exhibited at
the Agora Gallery and the Sculpture Center in New York City. She died in 2008.
