Born in 1909, Ruth Danielson Davis is a listed
crafts person, painter, and teacher and author.
Known for her portraits, still lifes, and
abstracts, she earned a BS and MS from the University of Wisconsin in Art
Education. She later taught at both the high school and college level. She
participated in many competitive painting and crafts shows, and designed textile
patterns from watercolor studies.
She retired to California in the late 1970's.
