This interesting School of Paris painting recently fond in New York reflects the influence of Modigliani (1884 - 1920), an Italian artist that worked in Paris at the high period of Avante Garde influence in the art world.

He was known for his paintings and sculptures featuring mask-like faces and elongation of form. This work is vintage, of the period, and unsigned.
