Born in
1942, contemporary Philadelphia born painter Stephen I. Newman received a BFA
from the Philadelphia College of Art and pursued graduate studies at the Tyler
Art College of Pennsylvania.
He has
worked in Santa Fe, New Mexico and Southern California since the early 1980's
and has had many one man and group shows nationally. His work has been featured
in Philadelphia Magazine, Southwest Art, Art West, The Los Angeles Times and
the Santa Fean Magazine.
