Listed California painter and teacher, Vivian Faure Rilliet was born in 1909 in Los Angeles, California, and studied both at UCLA and Columbia University. She taught art in the public school systems of Long Beach and Colton from the 1930's until the 1970's, and later became involved in cable television production. Her work is in the collection of the Orange County Museum. She died in 1996.
