A well known listed native Californian painter,
illustrator and print maker, Wayne La Com was born in Glendale, California
in 1922. He was educated at the Art Center School, Chouinard Art Institute,
and the Jepson Art Institute.
A student of Stanton McDonald-Wright, Guy Macoy,
and Hardie Gramatky, Wayne La Com's has been featured in both California
Style and California Watercolors 1850 - 1970. A member of the
California Watercolor Society, he also taught art for thirty years, and also
worked as a graphic designer.
