Born in 1926, Robert E Wood, NA is a well-listed California painter,
muralist, and art educator, known for his watercolor landscapes and marine
paintings in a semi-abstract style.
He studied at Pomona College and Claremont Graduate School where he
studied with Millard Sheets and Phil Dike. HE was an elected member of the
National Academy of Design, the American Watercolor Society and the
California Watercolor Society.
He completed Twenty-two large scale murals for the
Hotel Caminoreal in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. He died in 1999.
